If you’ve searched this question, it's time to find some answers.
Ask yourself the following questions.
-How old is your mattress? Is it older than 5 years?
-Do you sleep more comfortably at your acquaintance’s house than yours?
-Is your back pain worse than before?
-Is it louder than it normally is?
-Do you find yourself sneezing more often or have your asthma enabled when you're in your room?
If you answered yes to any of these, it might be time to get a new mattress.
Well.. are there any concrete reasons for me to replace my mattress?
There are 5 core questions, if you said yes to any of them, it's time for a replacement.
Is it older than 5 years?
There’s no concrete time when you have to replace a mattress, but if dust is becoming a problem in your room and you sweep and dust for hours and nothing works? Well, it's time to get a new mattress.
Does your mattress sag?
Not many people know that you need to rotate your mattress often to prevent this from happening.
Most people on reddit and casper recommend you rotate or flip your bed every 6-12 months to assure it won't sag or begin to break down.
Do you have asthma?
Is your asthma flaring up? Fun fact: Most of the dust inside of a mattress is more dust equivalent to an entire home.
Is there an odd smell in your room?
You guessed it. This chemical-like smell could be coming from the mattress which means it’s time for a replacement. Those could be glues inside of the bed that are melting off, which can affect you while you're sleeping. Definitely do some more research as-well to learn about this specific problem.
Have you been exposed to bed bugs?
This one is a dangerous no brainer. Make sure to call your exterminator and get that mattress switched too!
